Do you know a trailblazer, a local champion or a change agent?
Perhaps you know a woman supporting communities to respond, recover and rebuild after the 2019-20 bushfires and the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic?
Or know of a young woman with the vision and determination to become a future leader?
About the Honour Roll of Women
The Victorian Honour Roll of Women celebrates the outstanding contributions made by women from all walks of life and acknowledges the many ways in which they have made a lasting impact to our state.
Each year, the Victorian Honour Roll of Women recognises women who have demonstrated remarkable leadership and excellence in their field of expertise, interest, endeavour, or through their commitment to the community.
Since 2001, over 600 women have been recognised for their incredible efforts in Victoria, Australia and beyond.
There are five nomination categories including leading through disaster.
This category recognises women whose influence and example have advanced women’s leadership in disaster preparedness and response at a grass roots, local or global level.
It recognises women’s leadership in supporting communities to respond, recover and rebuild after the 2020 bushfires and the COVID-19 pandemic. They may be working to address the gendered needs of women impacted by the 2020 bushfires or the COVID-19 pandemic.
