Residents of all areas of Victoria are invited to join an online meeting with the Inspector-General for Emergency Management to discuss their views and practices with bushfire preparedness.
You may also have experiences with response to recent fires you’d like to share.
Recognising the current situation with Coronavirus / COVID-19 we are now holding meetings online.
You can join the online meeting through your mobile phone, your computer or your landline.
We will offer face to face meetings again when it is safe to do so.
The information gathered during the meeting will contribute to the independent Inquiry into the 2019-20 Victorian Fire Season conducted by Inspector-General Tony Pearce.
The Inspector-General’s Inquiry is looking into the way Victoria and its communities:
- prepared for bushfires
- responded to fires in large parts of Victoria's North East, East Gippsland, and Alpine regions
- conducted relief and recovery activities.
